The food processing and dairy sector is passing through rapid transformation and the agricultural engineers of the country have a great responsibility to be the drivers of the change. When the country focuses on nutritional security, the role of Agricultural Engineers in food processing sector becomes utmost important. The food processing industry is an important part of the Indian economy and accounts for about 10% of India’s GDP and employs around 15 million people. ISAE looks forward to more active participation and contribution from all of the members, the senior torch bearers of the profession, young scientists, scholars and students, for strengthening the Society and the Profession.
