Abstract

Heat of adsorption and heat of desorption for green Gram (whole, splitted and milled) were determined by using Othmor's method for moisture content range of 6 to 22 per cent (d. b.) and temperature range of 15 to 45oc. The heat of desorption was consistently greater than heat of adsorption. Processing i.e. removal of outer coating increased the beat of adsorption and desorption
